Francisco Perez

Francisco Perez  grew up playing baseball and his credentials speak for themselves: He played junior college ball in Texas, played in the Seattle Mariners farm system, and even attended the New York Yankees’ spring training in 1995.

Francisco’s baseball skills and knowledge have been honed at the hands of many great coaches but he has his own unique way of communicating the fun of the game His enthusiasm is contagious and he works hard to get the most out of kids. Francisco understands that players have limitations and works to make them the best within those limitations. Perez says he’s more concerned with helping the kids at P3 enjoy playing, rather than helping them become pros.

Mr. Perez is also the Director of Baseball Operations for the NY Gothams, a respected youth program he has led since the organization's inception in 2000. Over the course of his seasons with the Gothams, the teams he has coached have amassed an impressive 371-129 win/loss record. His tournament wins are numerous and highlighted by three National Championships,
In addition 18 of the NY Gothams’ players that Perez has coached have been recruited to play for colleges including Fordham College, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Wake Forest, St. John's College, University of Michigan and Wesleyan University. Ten players have been drafted by professional teams . Francisco has also held head coaches positions at ASA College and Trinity High School here in NYC where his winning record and tradition of building winning programs speak for themselves.

Most important on his impressive resume is Francisco’s ability to make baseball fun! Kids love to win but they achieve much greater result when they also are having fun.
