June Baseball Camps

Sign up by the week for full days of baseball fun and learning. Drop-off is between 8:30 and 9:00 AM and pick-up is from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. We play games every day in a coach-pitch framework designed for lots of hitting and fielding and "on-the-job" training. Lunch and snack are on us. Just bring your glove and love of the game.

Summer Camps

Sign up by the week for the best sports day camps in Manhattan. Baseball all day every day at the beautiful Pier 40 fields. Plenty of indoor space, too, with pitching and batting training equipment. The focus is on learning baseball by having fun playing baseball in a friendly environment with coach-pitch games for lots of hitting and fielding. For boys and girls ages 6-14. (Please ask about possible opportunities for older players.) Arrival between 8:30 and 9:00; pick-up between 3:30 and 5:00. Lunch and snack are included. Free hat and shirt. Just bring your glove.

Spring Break Camp

Sign up by the day for up to four days of learning the game by having fun playing the game, plus batting, base-running, and fielding drills. (No camp on Good Friday.) There's no better warm-up for the little league season. Drop off from 8:30 to 9:30 and pick-up from 3:30 to 5:00. Open to all boys and girls 6 - 13. Lunch and beverages provided. Just bring your glove, cap, and sunscreen. Wear or bring baseball pants or sweat pants.

Monday After School Baseball

After school baseball games every Monday on the beautiful Pier 40 courtyard fields (weather permitting), and plenty of baseball instruction at our Pier 40 indoor facility. Drop-off at Pier 40 between 3:15 and 4:00 PM. Pick-up from 5:45 - 6:00 PM. Enroll separately for transportation from school to Pier 40.

Afterschool Transportation

Children are picked up at school and brought to Pier 40 in vans operated by Kid Car NY. Normally, only students in the following schools are eligible: PS 3, PS 11, PS 41, PS 89, PS 234, Friends, Corlears, and VCS. Other schools will be added if four or more children from the school plan to enroll.

Private Lesson Agreement

Enrollment adds your child to a list authorizing coaches employed by Pier Park & Playground Association (P3) to arrange with you for private lessons for your child. By enrolling you acknowledge your understanding that any agreement for such lessons is exclusively an arrangement between you and the coach who is acting as an independent contractor and that the coach will not be working for P3 and that P3 is not responsible for the actions of the coach or any other party during such lesson or during any period immediately before or after such lessons. You further acknowledge that during such periods your child will be under your sole supervision and you assume all risk for any harm or damage that may occur and that you specifically hold harmless P3, the Hudson River Park Trust, and the City and State of New York. You further acknowledge that any payments for lessons are based on an arrangement solely between you and the coach and that you understand that P3 receives no compensation for the use of its facility or property during such period. Finally, you agree that you will not request access or use of the facility by any person other than your child and yourself.

Pitchers and Catchers

Do you want to pitch or catch for your team this year? These clinics, offered on four Sundays beginning February 21, will improve your skills and help protect your arm from injury. (9-12 year olds sign up for 9AM, 11AM, or 1PM; 13-16, sign up for 3PM.) Pitchers will improve their mechanics to increase velocity and learn to throw an effective change up. Catchers will work on framing, blocking, shifting and throwing. Pitchers and catchers will learn game strategy and how to approach each batter to get more outs with fewer pitches.
